MENR offers 9 services at "Baku SMB House" 02.02.23

The Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources (MENR) renders services to entrepreneurs in 9 areas at "Baku SMB House".

• authorising the use of water resources for special purposes;

• providing an expert opinion on the facilities that require thorough public environmental scrutiny;

• authorising the release of harmful substances into the atmosphere and harmful physical effects;

• issuance of a fishing license;

• issuing a permit to establish, enrich, trade with zoological collections, bring such collections to the Republic of Azerbaijan, send and carry them outside its borders;

• issuing a permit (certificate) for international trade (introduction from the sea, export, re-export and import ) of endangered wild fauna and wild flora species;

• issuance of permit note for removal of greenery;

• granting the status of "Mountain mine separation" to certain areas for extracting minerals, construction and operation of underground facilities unrelated with the extraction of minerals;

• granting the status of geological separation to underground areas for the purpose of geological exploration.

Entrepreneurs are encouraged to apply for these services to service specialists of MENR at "Baku SMB House”. It is planned to implement the aforementioned services in SMB houses operating in other cities and regions of the country.
