Next meeting with entrepreneurs was held by KOBİA in Goranboy district 23.05.24

Nearly 130 entrepreneurs participated in the meeting, where the representatives of Small and Medium Business Development Agency (KOBİA) attentively heard out their proposals and addressed their inquiries.

This visit to Goranboy district by the representatives of KOBİA officials aimed to enlighten entrepreneurs about state support mechanisms and innovations in the business sector, as well as affording them the opportunity to express their developmental needs and suggestions.

The representatives of the Agency provide support and services in various areas, such as protecting business interests, access to markets and financial resources, consulting, training, and legal assistance. Within the framework of the meeting, the detailed information was provided about government support measures for the establishment and development of entrepreneurship, including services offered by KOBİA, and questions of interest to entrepreneurs were addressed. It was noted at the event that the entrepreneurs' proposals would be conveyed to the appropriate authorities. The event attended by nearly 130 entrepreneurs, also included representatives from the Goranboy District Executive Authority and organizations that provide support and services to entrepreneurs in the district.

Furthermore, it was announced that KOBİA's fifth SMB friend office in the Ganja-Dashkasan economic region has begun operating in Goranboy during the meeting. While visiting the SMB friend office located in the Goranboy Cultural Center, it was noted that this is the 51st SMB friend office in the country. Alongside Goranboy, SMB friend offices are operational in regions like Ganja, Dashkasan, Goygol, and Samukh. These offices play a crucial role in coordinating the Agency's local-level activities, discerning entrepreneurs' needs firsthand, and executing relevant measures. The establishment of new business entities, safeguarding entrepreneurs' legal rights, and materializing their investment endeavors stand as primary objectives of the SMB friend office. Establishment of new business entities, safeguarding entrepreneurs' legal interests, and facilitating the realization of their investment initiatives will be primary focuses of the SMB friend's activities.The meetings with entrepreneurs both individually and in groups, are conducted, their applications are listened to, and necessary conditions are created in the SMB friend's office for organizing events with the participation of government agencies. Mr.Orkhan Mammadov, Chairman of KOBİA's Management Board, and Mr. Maharram Guliyev, Head of Goranboy District Executive Authority, extended invitations to entrepreneurs and aspiring businessmen to actively engage with the SMB friend office.
