
At the meeting, the entrepreneurs' ideas and suggestions regarding establishing and developing a business were listened to, and their questions were answered.
Organized by the Small and Medium Business Development Agency (KOBIA), the latest meeting with entrepreneurs was held in the Aghjabadi district. Supported by the Aghjabadi District Executive Authority, the event brought together nearly 130 entrepreneurs operating in the fields of agriculture, livestock, and industry, as well as representatives of relevant state institutions.
At the event, First Deputy Head of the Aghjabadi District Executive Authority, Khatai Zeynalov, and Chairman of the Board of the Small and Medium Business Development Agency (KOBIA), Orkhan Mammadov, provided in-depth insights into emerging challenges in the business landscape, state support measures aimed at stimulating entrepreneurial activity, and the economic potential of the region.
It was emphasized that Aghjabadi possesses significant potential in both the agricultural and industrial sectors. By leveraging these opportunities effectively, entrepreneurs can establish new enterprises or expand their existing businesses.
The state’s support mechanisms including subsidies, concessional loans, tax incentives, investment promotion certificates, support for clustering, and others play a crucial role in fostering business growth in the region.
Entrepreneurs with new business ideas or investment initiatives in Aghjabadi, as well as in nearby cities and districts, are encouraged to reach out to local SMB Friends for support in areas such as information provision, consulting, coordination, and more.
As part of the event, participants engaged in discussions on various instruments for financing entrepreneurial activity. These included concessional loans, the issuance of investment promotion certificates, support for clustering initiatives, and relevant assistance measures in these areas. Entrepreneurs’ views, proposals, and needs were heard on topics such as the proper allocation and use of pasturelands, support for livestock farming, the establishment of business operations in the field of irrigation systems production, and other related issues. Comprehensive discussions were held around these topics, and participants’ questions were addressed accordingly.
As part of the visit, representatives of the Small and Medium Business Development Agency (KOBIA) visited the dairy production facility of "ATENA" LLC and the bread and flour products factory of “Cahidoğlu” LLC, both operating in the Aghjabadi district. During the visits, they engaged in an exchange of views with the entrepreneurs on matters related to business development.
