The Chairman of the Board of the Small and Medium Business Development Agency (SMBDA) Orhan Mammadov met with Charge d'Affaires of the Slovak Republic in Azerbaijan Milan Lajcak.

 

During the meeting, Orkhan Mammadov underlined the great potential for the development of relations between micro, small, and medium businesses of the two countries and the state support rendered to SMBs in Azerbaijan, provided information on the SMBDA’s activities and services.

 

Chargé d'Affaires of the Slovak Republic in Azerbaijan Milan Lajcak noted the active role of SMBs in the Slovak economy, stressing the need to expand cooperation between the Agency and relevant Slovak agencies.

 

The parties exchanged views on possible cooperation in the field of mutual trade and investment, discussed opportunities for cooperation, including an exchange of experience in the field of SMBs, implementation of joint projects with the participation of SMBs of both countries, and the SMBDA’s support in this process.
