Pakistani Ambassador to Azerbaijan visited SMBDA 01.04.21

The Chairman of the Board of the Small and Medium Business Development Agency (SMBDA) Orkhan Mammadov met with the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Pakistan to Azerbaijan Bilal Haye.

During the meeting, the parties have exchanged views on the opportunities of partnership in the field of SMBs within the framework of the current cooperation between the two countries. It was noted that the main attention in the field of SMBs is paid to establishing relations with the relevant Pakistani structures, including the Small and Medium Enterprise Development Authority (SMEDA), promoting the business activities of Pakistani SMBs in Azerbaijan, implementing joint projects with the participation of SMBs of the two countries. At the meeting, information on the mechanisms of support provided to SMBs in our country and the SMBDA’s activity has been provided, and it has been noted that the Agency can support Pakistani entrepreneurs in establishing cooperation with local SMBs, advising on investments, and coordinating their investment activities in our country.

During the meeting, it has been noted that the embassy will support establishing relations between the SMBDA and the relevant Pakistani structure and the development of cooperation in the field of SMBs.
