Public Hearing and Discussion on Draft Technical Regulations for Non-Food Industrial Products

Draft technical regulations titled “On the Safety of Machinery and Equipment,” “On Requirements for Lubricants, Oils, and Special Fluids,” “On the Safety of Light Industry Products,” and “On the Safety of Furniture Products” are available on the official website of the State Service for Antimonopoly and Consumer Market Control under the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan for interested parties to review and provide feedback.

A public hearing and discussion on the aforementioned draft technical regulations will take place at the Baku SME House on October 10, 2025, at 11:00.

The event is being organized in cooperation with the Small and Medium Business Development Agency of the Republic of Azerbaijan (KOBIA) and the State Service for Antimonopoly and Consumer Market Control under the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan.

In accordance with the law, the discussions will aim to collect feedback on the draft technical regulations, ensure active engagement of interested parties, and raise public awareness of the obligations specified in these regulations, as well as the benefits arising from their implementation.

The Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Azerbaijan is expected to review the opinions, comments, and recommendations submitted by interested parties during the public hearings, taking into account the relevant legal provisions, and to approve the drafts in consultation with the corresponding authorized bodies.
