Representatives of KOBİA are visiting Belgium 23.05.22

Representatives of the Small and Medium Business Development Agency (KOBİA) are visiting Belgium to study the experience of EU countries in the field of micro, small and medium enterprises and to expand relations with relevant organizations in the field of SMEs.

During the visit, a meeting was held in Brussels between Orkhan Mammadov, Chairman of the Board of KOBİA, and Luisa Santos, Deputy Director of Business Europe. It was noted at the meeting that KOBİA is a beneficiary of a number of EU-funded projects related to the development of entrepreneurship and the projects have been successfully completed. It was noted that in the report "Business Environment in Azerbaijan - 2021", prepared with the support of the European Union, according to a survey of European companies on ongoing local reforms and performance appraisal, KOBİA is in the top five.

The sides exchanged views on networking, organization of business missions, opportunities for joint ventures, mutual export promotion, exchange of information on investment projects and organization of joint events to establish direct contacts between Azerbaijan and member SMEs.
