A Round Table of Azerbaijani and Latvian business circles was held with the attendance of the President of the Republic of Latvia Egils Levits, who is on an official visit to Azerbaijan.

 

The event held with the organization of the Export and Investment Promotion Agency - AZPROMO and the Investment and Development Agency of Latvia (LIAA) was attended by officials and companies of both countries.

 

Speaking at the event, Chairman of the Board of the Small and Medium Business Development Agency (KOBİA) Orkhan Mammadov stated that the developing bilateral ties between our countries spur the further expansion of trade and investment cooperation between the private sector, especially the SMBs of Azerbaijan and Latvia. Orkhan Mammadov delivered information on the support that KOBİA is capable of providing to the development of relations between businessmen of both countries, and pointed out that the Agency is willing to support cooperation initiatives of businesspersons.
