Rwandan delegation got acquainted with activities of the "Baku SMB House" 20.12.24

KOBIA is ready to share its experience of the SMB House model with Rwanda.

The delegation led by Juliana Muganza, Deputy Executive Director of the Rwanda Development Board, who is on a visit to our country, paid a visit to "Baku SMB House”.

The delegation was provided with detailed information about the activities of the Small and Medium Business Development Agency (KOBİA), including the SMB Houses, that are part of the Agency's structure.

It was highlighted that SME Houses play an important role in ensuring entrepreneurs' access to government services in a single location.

In addition to public entities, business services are also provided by the private sector in those houses. Efforts are underway to increase the number of SMB Houses, covering three cities of the country. It was noted that in 2024, Azerbaijan's SMB House model was recognized as an advanced innovative practice by the OECD (Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development) Public Sector Innovation Research Centre. KOBIA is ready to share its experience of the SMB House model with Rwanda. The activities of the "Baku SMB House" were met with great interest by the Rwandan delegation.
