Sale of products manufactured by micro and small business entities organized in two more markets 21.09.23
Sale of products manufactured by micro and small business entities organized in two more markets

Micro and small entrepreneurs seeking to sell their food and non-food products under preferential terms in large trade networks are encouraged to apply to KOBİA.

As part of measures to support the organization of the sale of products manufactured by micro and small business entities in large trade networks, permanent sales points were established in 2 more markets. Tea, cold-pressed oils, flour, spices, honey, vinegar, dried fruits, canned pickles and other products produced by about 10 micro and small business entities are currently sold at the sales points operating in the "Megastore" and "Bizim market" supermarket chains.

Thus, the number of permanent sales points established to support the sale of products of micro and small business entities in large trade networks as part of state support mechanism has reached 8. Currently, the products of more than 25 micro and small entrepreneurs are sold in these sales points. In order to support the organization of the sale of the products of SMBs in large trade networks, negotiations are being held with trade networks to raise the number of sales points.

It is worth highlighting that support for expanding the sale of products manufactured by micro and small business entities in trade networks is performed in accordance with the Rule approved by the Decree of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan dated December 1, 2021. Pursuant to the rule, state support is provided by the Small and Medium Business Development Agency (KOBİA).

Micro and small business entities seeking to sell their food products in "Bravo" (3 permanent sales points), "Bolmart" (1 permanent sale), "Bizim market" (2 permanent sales points), "Megastore" trade chains (1 permanent sale point), and non-food products (souvenir, gift, jewellery, costume jewellery, toy, etc.) in "Sharq Bazaar" Shopping Center are encouraged to apply to KOBİA.
