Chairman of the Board of the Small and Medium Business Development Agency (SMBDA) Orkhan Mammadov met with the secretary-general of the Islamic Chamber of Commerce, Industry, and Agriculture (ICCIA) Yussef Hasan Halawi visiting Baku.

 

During the meeting, the Agency's collaboration with the structural units of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) has been noted, and that in October this year, Investment Summit will be held in Baku in cooperation with the Youth Forum of this organization (ICYF). It has been stressed that SMBDA is also interested in establishing links with ICCIA as a continuation of the partnership with the relevant OIC agencies.

 

At the meeting, information on the SMBDA’s activity was provided, and opportunities for collaboration with ICCIA were discussed, including developing relations between businessmen and local entrepreneurs of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation member countries and arranging joint events, implementing joint projects, and exchanging experience for this purpose.
