SMB Friend started operating in Balakan 07.06.23

The SMB Friend that started operating in Balakan district will support the development of business, the establishment of new SMBs, the implementation of entrepreneurial investment initiatives and the protection of their interests.

SMB Friend has commenced its activities in Balakan district. As a result, the number of SMB Friends in Shaki-Zagatala economic region has reached 5. The SMB Friend will support the establishment of new SMBs and business development in Balakan and surrounding districts, the implementation of investment initiatives of entrepreneurs, the protection of their interests, and will provide information about business activities.

On June 7, a meeting with entrepreneurs was organized by the Small and Medium Business Development Agency (KOBİA) and the Balakan District Executive Authority regarding the launch of the SMB Friend in Balakan. At the event, which was held with the attendance of representatives of relevant state bodies and entrepreneurs, the ideas and suggestions of entrepreneurs on their needs of business establishment and development were heard, information was provided about state support mechanisms, including the support and services of KOBİA, and their questions were addressed.

Islam Rzayev, the head of Balakan District Executive Authority, provided information on the business activities in the district and expressed his confidence that the SMB Friend will support the development of micro, small and medium business entities in the district.

Orkhan Mammadov, the Chairman of the Board of KOBİA delivered information on the support and services provided by the Agency to entrepreneurs, including the SMB Friend mechanism.

It was noted that today there are offices of SMB Friend operating in 41 cities and districts of the country. By maximizing the use of the economic potential of the district, Balakan SMB Friend will support the development of entrepreneurship and the formation of new SMB entities and the protection of their interests as part of the state support mechanisms. Entrepreneurs were invited to actively cooperate with Balakan SMB Friends.

Subsequently, the Balakan SMB Friend was introduced to the business community of the district, the entrepreneurs familiarized themselves with the office where the SMB Friend is set operate. As in other SMB Friend offices, the office of the Balakan SMB Friend has brought about promising conditions for providing services to entrepreneurs and holding meetings with them.
