SMB volunteers hired

Five more SMB volunteers who successfully completed their volunteering activities at the Small and Medium Business Development Agency of the Republic of Azerbaijan (SMBDA) have started their careers in various fields.

Volunteers working at the Gabala-Oghuz office of SMB Friend - Raphaet Bayramova, Aysel Jalalova, Teymur Alishanov, and Elvin Mammadov have been respectively employed at ASAN Service Center in Gabala, Youth Development and Career Center under the Youth Foundation of the Republic of Azerbaijan and State Agricultural Development Center of the Ministry of Agriculture the Ministry of Agriculture.

Samad Azizov, one of the first volunteers of the Shamakhi "SMB Friend" office, started his work in Aghsu regional office of "Azerigaz" Production Union.

Worth noting that the Agency is implementing an "SMB Volunteers Program" to increase the knowledge, skills, and vision of young people, to train labour skills before commencement of professional labour activity, as well as to voluntarily involve young professionals and students to support entrepreneurship. Currently, 25 young people are volunteering at the Agency and the SMB Friend network, which operates in 16 cities and regions of the country. Most of them are young people studying in various higher and secondary education institutions in the field of economics, business, and management. A total of 70 young people were involved in volunteering activities in the Agency under the "SMB Volunteers Program" so far and 45 of them completed the program successfully. Throughout their volunteer activities, young people, by gaining relevant experience, expand their career opportunities, and successfully enter the job market.
