SMBDA calls on entrepreneurs to make more use of industrial parks and neighborhoods 24.08.20

The Small and Medium Business Development Agency (SMBDA) invites entrepreneurs, especially small and medium businesses, to take advantage of the opportunities created at the Mingachevir Industrial Park and Sabirabad Industrial Cluster.

Entrepreneurs operating in Mingachevir and Sabirabad regions, as well as potential entrepreneurs who want to set up their business in these regions, can build their business here or further expand existing business activities using the modern infrastructure and benefits created in the industrial park and cluster.

Mingachevir Industrial Park, which specializes in light industry, offers entrepreneurs modern infrastructure, tax and customs benefits, and convenient logistics opportunities. Thus, the state equipped Mingachevir Industrial Park with modern infrastructure, including electricity, gas, water, internal roads and fiber-optic connection, which allows entrepreneurs to allocate funds for development of their businesses instead of covering these costs. Entrepreneurs who are residents of the industrial park are exempt from profit, property and land taxes, VAT on imported machinery, technological equipment and facilities for a period of 10 years from the date of registration. In addition, residents of the industrial park are exempt from customs duties for a period of 7 years for imported machinery, technological equipment and facilities.

Favorable conditions have been created for small businesses to engage in entrepreneurial activities in production, processing and other sectors of the economy in the Sabirabad Industrial District. Sabirabad Industrial Cluster offers small businesses a modern infrastructure consisting of various production facilities equipped with electricity, gas, water, domestic roads and fiber-optic connection.
