On October 13, Orkhan Mammadov, Chairman of the Management Board to the Small and Medium Business Development Agency of the Republic of Azerbaijan (SMBDA) under the Ministry of Economy met with entrepreneurs who suffered from the Armenian military provocation in the cities of Ganja and Barda, and got acquainted with the damage caused to their households and business entities.
It was noted at the meeting that as a result of the military provocation of the Armenian armed forces against Azerbaijan on September 27, along with the civilians, infrastructure facilities, and state property, business entities also suffered big losses. At present, measures are being taken to collect and process relevant information to determine the damage caused to the business entities and, if possible, to assess the damage caused on-site. So far, SMBDA has been informed of about 160 entrepreneurs, who suffered big losses as a result of Armenian provocations Applications are mainly from the cities of Ganja and Naftalan, as well as Tartar, Fuzuli, Beylagan, Barda, Agdam, Jabrail, and Agjabadi regions.
As a result of the military provocation of Armenia, mainly households (arable land, large and small animals, etc.), commercial premises, shops, public catering facilities (canteens, tea houses, cafes, restaurants), bakeries, petrol stations, hotels, drugstores, hairdressers`, markets, and other commercial facilities were damaged to an extent.
As always, the Azerbaijani state stands by entrepreneurs today. Therefore, SMBDA once again calls business entities who suffered from the Armenian military provocation to inform the Agency about it.
