The chairman of the Board of the Small and Medium Business Development Agency (SMBDA) Orkhan Mammadov met with the extraordinary and plenipotentiary ambassadors of the Pacific Alliance member countries in Azerbaijan. At a meeting with the ambassador of Colombia to Azerbaijan Luis Antonio Dimate Cardenas, ambassador of Mexico to Azerbaijan Rodrigo Labardini, and charge d'affaires of Chile to Azerbaijan Fidel Coloma Grimberg, information was provided on the development of the SMB sector in our country and the Agency’s activity. At the meeting, the parties exchanged views on the opportunities for cooperation within the alliance, possible measures to create and expand direct contacts between local SMBs and those of the alliance member countries.

 

At the meeting, it was also noted that foreign investors wishing to build a business in Azerbaijan or implement joint projects with local SMBs may contact SMBDA, and information was provided on the Agency's support and services in this area.
