SMBDA supports implementation of another business project

On October 18, a public catering facility "Churros" was opened in Baku with support of the Agency for Development of Small and Medium Businesses of the Republic of Azerbaijan.

Churros, located in the Fountain Square, bakes sells of Spanish “churros” patisserie. It also makes and sells broad range of tea, coffee, cocktails and other soft drinks. At present, Churros employs 5 people.

SMBDA supported establishment of the Churros public catering company with consulting and legal advisory services, coordination with the relevant government agencies, etc.

It is planned to expand the Churros network to other areas of Baku.

SMBDA supported a number of business initiatives and projects to micro and small businesses increase role in and contribution to the national economy. The agency will continue to support startups and entrepreneurs to implement business initiatives and projects through government support mechanisms and its own services.
