At the Business Forum of the Turkic Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Istanbul, the chairman of the Board of the Small and Medium Business Development Agency (SMBDA) Orkhan Mammadov shared his views on the prospects for cooperation between the business circles of Azerbaijan and Turkic-speaking countries and the support the Agency can provide in this area.

It was noted that the growing bilateral and multilateral relations between the Turkic-speaking countries create great opportunities for cooperation in the business sector. SMBDA collaborates with some agencies in Turkic-speaking countries. Along with local businessmen, foreign entrepreneurs doing business in Azerbaijan also use SMBDA’s services. The priority areas comprise strengthening ties between small and medium businesses operating in Turkic-speaking countries, establishing and developing new partnerships. SMBDA is ready to provide support to those wishing to do business in Azerbaijan in appropriate fields, including coordinating them with relevant agencies and finding reliable local partners. Establishing links between SMBs through a single platform can also contribute to the development of economic relations between Turkic-speaking countries.
