SMBDA's contribution to the "Year of Volunteers": "Volunteer's personal/handbook" published



The year 2020 has been declared the "Year of Volunteers" in our country following the Decree of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan. To contribute to the "Year of Volunteers," the " Könüllünün öz/əl kitabı (Volunteer's Personal Handbook)" was published with the support of the Small and Medium Business Development Agency (SMBDA) of the Republic of Azerbaijan, and based on the initiative of "SMB Volunteers."

The published book on the promotion of volunteering activities is addressed to the young people, who want to succeed in business development and career, who are taking their first steps as a volunteer, including students, who are currently volunteering, as well as their parents and public and private organizations, who are willing to involve volunteers to their activities.

Published in 13,000 copies, the "Volunteer's Personal Handbook" consists of 13 sections containing information on the history of volunteering, best practices in the field, the organization of work with volunteers, and national volunteer institutions of the country.

The "Volunteer’s Personal Handbook," is going to be an essential tool for the future personal and business development of young people and volunteers, as well as career planning, and will be distributed to volunteers representing different organizations operating in the country for free during 2020. The book is not for sale.
