Entrepreneurs of the Goychay and Aghdash regions visited rice fields and a processing plant in Lankaran.

The visit, arranged with the support of the Lankaran and Goychay-Aghdash SMB development centers of the Small and Medium Business Development Agency (SMBDA), is aimed at facilitating cooperation and exchange of experience between Lankaran rice farmers and entrepreneurs from Goychay and Aghdash regions.

Rice farmers got acquainted with growing rice, maintaining citrus and kiwi fruits in an agritourism farm, and processing rice at a rice plant.

As part of the event, training for entrepreneurs was arranged at the SMB development center. At the training, entrepreneurs were informed on the sale of rice and the export of this product to the domestic and foreign markets and received answers to their questions.
