Students were acquainted with the operational process of the SME House, and their questions regarding the SME House model were addressed.
A group of students from the Azerbaijan University of Tourism and Management visited the “Baku SME House” to learn about the services provided to entrepreneurs by state and private institutions.
Representatives of the Small and Medium Business Development Agency (KOBIA) informed the students about the operational process of the SME House, as well as the “G2B” (Government-to-Business) and “B2B” (Business-to-Business) services delivered to business entities there. It was noted that services offered to entrepreneurs by both public and private institutions are provided in SME Houses within a unified space and in a coordinated manner. The SME House model represents one of the innovations in the field of business services and has been recognized as a positive best practice by many foreign delegations visiting Azerbaijan. Furthermore, the Startup Development Center operating within the “Baku SME House” supports young people in realizing their business ideas.
At the end of the visit, the students’ questions concerning the activities of the SME House were answered.
