At the Tatarstan-Azerbaijani business forum, information was conveyed on the support and services provided by KOBİA to local and foreign businesspersons.
A Tatarstan-Azerbaijani business forum was held in Kazan, Republic of Tatarstan of the Russian Federation, organized by the Azerbaijan Export and Investment Promotion Agency - AZPROMO and the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Tatarstan.
At the event, which was attended by government officials and businesspersons from both countries, Orkhan Mammadov, Chairman of the Board of the Small and Medium Business Development Agency (KOBİA), delivered information on the opportunities for expanding relations between business circles, the support and services provided by the Agency to local and foreign businessmen.
It was stressed that KOBİA`s means of support include sustaining financial support for internal market research, allocating grants to SMB projects in the fields of education, science, research and support, access to trade networks for SMBs, training and consulting services, and issuing a "Startup" certificate, the provision of "G2B" and "B2B" services to entrepreneurs from a single window etc. KOBİA provides the essential support for forging ties between business stakeholders and implementing joint projects, coordinating with relevant agencies and identifying local partners.
Orkhan Mammadov also underlined that KOBİA is an active actor in the "Russia - Islamic World: Kazan Summit" since 2019. At the next summit, the attendance of a delegation of businesspeople, the joint representation of KOBİA and AZPROMO with a stand at the exhibition organized within the scope of the event, and the field meetings are planned.
