The joint social initiative from SMBDA and “Rahat” supermarket chains

The Small and Medium Business Development Agency (SMBDA) and "Rahat" supermarket chain have also joined social initiatives to support measures to fight the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic in our country.

SMBDA and "Rahat" supermarket chain have launched a joint initiative to provide 200 low-income families, who live in Baku, with daily consumer goods as part of the #stayhome campaign.

SMBDA staff and "SMB Volunteers" delivered one-time food aid to families. Besides, "SMB Volunteers" provided the citizens with information about the precautionary and preventive measures taken by the state in connection with coronavirus infection, personal hygiene rules, the importance of social isolation, and gave out educational booklets.

The support provided by entrepreneurs to low-income families and lonely elderly people in the current situation is not only the social responsibility of business representatives but also a great example of national solidarity and charitable traditions.
