The last year students of Aghdam Vocational School No 2, participants of the Youth Business Workshop project, visited the dairy processing plant of Atena LLC in Agjabadi district and the bakery and flour products plant of Cahidoglu LLC. The main purpose of the study tour is to form young people's initial business ideas and production experience. For this purpose, the project participants were given detailed information about the activities of the plants and they got acquainted with the production process.


During the first stage of the study tour, the students also visited the Aghdam branch of Azerkhalcha OJSC.


It should be noted that the "Youth Business Workshop" project was launched last year. The project is implemented in partnership with the Small and Medium Business Development Agency (KOBİA), the State Employment Agency under the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of the Population and the State Agency on Vocational Education under the Ministry of Education. The aim of the project is to develop business skills and promote entrepreneurship among young people receiving vocational education, ensure self-employment, increase the number of young people with vocational training among micro and small entrepreneurs, support new business initiatives, increase interest in vocational education. The project covers areas such as tailoring, plant and animal husbandry, carpet weaving, agro-technical services, carpenter, locksmith, cook, confectioner, tourism and welder in Agdam, Jalilabad and Gabala districts.


Young people who successfully complete three months of business and vocational training will be provided with appropriate equipment in their chosen field of activity. Trainings for 125 people have already been completed in Agdam and Jalilabad districts, and training trips are being organized for them. In the Gabala region covered by the project, trainings for 153 people receiving vocational training at the Gabala State Vocational Training Center are underway. After the trainings, trips will be organized there as well.
