The next training visit of the participants of the "Youth Business Workshop" project, implemented in partnership with the Small and Medium Business Development Agency, the State Employment Agency under the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of the Population, and the State Agency on Vocational Education under the Ministry of Education, was organized.


In order to form the initial business idea and production experience, the last year students of the Gabala State Vocational Education Center visited the lavender farm established in the village of Chukhur Gabala, Gabala region. The students were informed about the creation and operation of the farm, they got acquainted with the process of lavender harvesting and farm maintenance.


It should be noted that the purpose of the "Youth Business Workshop" project is to develop the business skills of young people receiving vocational education and to encourage them to engage in entrepreneurial activities, to ensure their self-employment, to increase the number of young people who have received vocational education among micro and small entrepreneurs, to support new business initiatives, and to increase interest in vocational education. The project covering the years 2021-2023 is currently being implemented in Jalilabad, Aghdam and Gabala regions. The project covers areas such as tailoring, crop and animal husbandry, carpet making, agro-technical services, carpenters, locksmiths, cooks, confectioners, tourism and welding. Within the framework of the project, young people who have successfully completed business and vocational training will be provided with appropriate equipment for their chosen field of activity.
