The results of the startup competition "From us to business" have been announced 25.12.24

The winners of the startup competition were awarded with monetary rewards for the implementation of their business plans.

To support startups, the winners of the startup competition “From us to business", organized by the "AccessBank" CJSC in partnership with the Small and Medium Business Development Agency (KOBİA), have been announced.

Over 500 applications were submitted by the startups and entrepreneurs for the competition announced in October. Three projects that met the criteria of innovation, creativity, sustainability, and profitability were selected as the winners among the projects submitted by the judging panel. The winner of first place was Khayala Miriyeva, the author of the “Climasel” cooling panels production project; Rafig Mirzayev, the author of the project focused on the biological processing agricultural and food waste to produce alternative animal-derived protein and fat supplements took the second place went to, as well as the third place was awarded to Fidan Alisoy, the author of beeswax coating production project.

Orhan Mammadov, Chairman of the Management Board of KOBİA, and Davit Tsiklauri, Chairman of the Management Board of "AccessBank” CJSC, making a speech at the event dedicated to the results of the startup competition "From us to business" and awarding the winners, shared their insights on the startup ecosystem in our country, government support measures and incentives for the realization of innovative business concepts and innovative projects, as well as public-private partnerships in this field and the private sector's support for startups. It was noted that such projects contribute to the emergence of innovative solutions, the development of startup projects, and the transformation of new ideas into business ventures.

Later, "AccessBank" CJSC awarded a prize of 25,000 manats to the first place winner, 20,000 manats to the second place winner, and 15,000 manats to the third place winner for the realization of the business plans. The winners will be able to use the prize only in the form of cashless transactions. In addition, the winners have been exempted from commission fees on all domestic banking transactions conducted through "AccessBank" CJSC for a year.
