The sewing factory that operated in the village of Agali employed 12 locals

In Zangilan district's Agali village, which marks the start of the massive return to the lands liberated from occupation, the first production enterprise, the "Gillmed" sewing factory, employed 12 residents.

The Small and Medium Business Development Agency (KOBİA) is continuing to provide business training to the residents of the village of Agali so they can launch their own businesses and secure employment.

"Gillmed" sewing factory, established on the basis of public-private sector partnership with the support of KOBİA, produces medical textile products, including medical masks and gowns, uniforms. Currently, the enterprise produces 200-400 aprons and more than 8000 medical masks and other clothes daily.

The factory aims to increase the number of employees to 50 and expand production.

It should be noted that in May of this year, President Ilham Aliyev and First Lady Mehriban Aliyeva got acquainted with the production process of the "Gillmed" sewing factory in Agali village.
