The SME Model Enterprise Supports Entrepreneurs in the Production Process

Over the past year, more than one thousand entrepreneurs have learned to manage their production processes more efficiently through the SME Model Enterprise.

During the reporting period of 2025, the SME Model Enterprise provided significant support to entrepreneurs in improving their production processes. In the current year, the Model Enterprise conducted over 460 hours of training, attended by nearly 1,360 entrepreneurs and specialists working in the production sector.
The objective of these trainings is to help entrepreneurs apply the knowledge gained to their own enterprises, thereby increasing productivity, reducing costs, and minimizing losses within the production process.

The trainings conducted at the SME Model Enterprise were designed in line with the real needs of entrepreneurs and covered a broad range of topics, including methods of saving time and costs, mastering the efficient and adequate use of resources, standardization, time measurement, visual demonstration of lean production methods, soft skills, project management, financial and supply-chain management, as well as sales and marketing.
Considering the growing interest of entrepreneurs in digital competencies and the transition to a “green economy” in recent years, trainings were also held on these topics.

Alongside the trainings, a total of 840 hours of consultancy services were provided by the SME Model Enterprise to five SME entities, focusing on the analysis and improvement of real production processes within their facilities. These services will continue until the end of 2025.

It should be noted that the SME Model Enterprise, established by the Small and Medium Business Development Agency (KOBİA), is a unique center where practical knowledge and experience are integrated, operating on the concept of “seeing, hearing, and doing” to support the development of business entities. The Model Enterprise operates within the Azerbaijan Technical University.
Business entities operating in the production sector and wishing to benefit from the opportunities of the Model Enterprise may apply to KOBİA or via the social media accounts of the Model Enterprise. All services provided to entrepreneurs by the SME Model Enterprise are free of charge.
