The US Caspian Policy Center’s leadership visited SMBDA 20.05.21

Members of the Caspian Policy Center being an independent US think tank visited the Small and Medium Business Development Agency (SMBDA).

The Chairman of the SMBDA Board Orkhan Mammadov informed the center’s executive director and board member Afgan Nifty, the former US ambassador to Azerbaijan Robert Sekuta, and the former US ambassador to various countries Richard Hoagland, as well as representatives of the academic community, about the business and investment opportunities of Azerbaijan and measures to diversify the economy, including those taken to enhance the role and competitiveness of small and medium enterprises in the economy, state support for SMBs, and the Agency’s activity and support mechanisms.

At the meeting, answers were also given to the guests' questions and the exchange of views on possible cooperation areas was performed.
