The Center for Analysis and Coordination of the Fourth Industrial Revolution (4sim), in collaboration with the United Nations Economic and Social Commission for Asia and the Pacific (UNESCAP), within the framework of the project "Attracting investments in the digital economy" (World Economic Forum) together with the World Economic Forum is organizing a two-day workshop aimed at enhancing access to financial resources for startups and medium-sized enterprises at the “scale-up” stage. The workshop will take place on June 13-14 in Baku, providing valuable insights for businesses in the country.
Within the workshop the following aspects as key indicators and criteria for the successful attraction of foreign direct investment; the duties of participants from both the public and private sectors aimed at achieving these indicators; methods of conducting marketing research in relevant areas; the importance of socio-cultural adaptation and a personalized approach, localization; as well as the financial planning, the company's infrastructure, “scale-up” potential and resource optimization are set to be discussed. Additionally, the trainings will be held on these spheres.
The event also includes expert opinions and individual consultations on investor targeting strategies.
Central Asian and Turkish startups are poised to join the workshop alongside those from Azerbaijan.
