Within the framework of cooperation between the Small and Medium Business Development Agency (KOBIA) and the Association of Turkish Member Banks, from May 1 to 3, a training session "Islamic Banking and Finance" was held in Istanbul with the aim of increasing knowledge and skills in the field of financial markets.
The event was attended by representatives of the Ministry of Economy, the Central Bank of Azerbaijan, the Entrepreneurship Development Fund, KOBIA and the country's leading banks.
The training explored the differences between Islamic banking and traditional banking, Islamic financial instruments and mechanisms of application, issues of collection and management of financial resources.
At the same time, as part of the study tour, participants held meetings with Turkish financial market regulators and professional market participants.
Training participants were awarded certificates.
