Trainings are being held for the participants of the “Development of Entrepreneurship and Self-Employment in Rural Areas” project implemented with the support of the Small and Medium Business Development Agency (KOBİA), the State Employment Agency under the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of Population and the State Tourism Agency.

For selected individuals from Guba, Gusar, Khachmaz, Sheki, Zagatala, Gakh, Lankaran, Astara and Lerik districts where the project is being implemented to acquire relevant knowledge in the field of tourism and services, trainings are being held on topics such as writing a business plan, the legal basis of business, rural tourism and branding, the role of social media in rural tourism, guest house management and customer satisfaction. Along with the trainings, the repair work in the area to be used as a tourist facility is nearing completion. At the next stage, business facilities will be equipped with the necessary equipment. As a result, 50 new business facilities will be established in the field of rural tourism.

Rural guest houses, which will provide hospitality services to local and foreign tourists, will contribute to increasing the income and employment of local residents, as well as the development of entrepreneurship in the region.
