KOBIA has announced the names of the institutions that provided the highest number of “G2B” services at SMB Houses.
In 2025, entrepreneurs most frequently applied to SMB Houses to obtain permit forms for cargo transportation, distinguishing signs (identification badges), postal services, certificates of origin, customs services, and phytosanitary certificates. Last year, the institutions that provided the largest number of “G2B” services to entrepreneurs at SMB Houses were as follows:
Ministry of Digital Development and Transport – 257,699 (47.5%)
“Azerpost” LLC – 96,902 (17.8%)
State Agency for Antimonopoly and Consumer Market Control – 62,051 (11.4%)
State Customs Committee – 30,384 (5.6%)
Food Safety Agency – 17,289 (3.2%)
Thus, of the 543,033 services provided to business entities at SMB Houses in 2025, 464,325 (85.5%) were delivered by the above-mentioned institutions.
It should be noted that SMB Houses are centers that provide entrepreneurs with fast and convenient access to state (“G2B”) and business (“B2B”) services in a single location. Accessing “G2B” and “B2B” services through SMB Houses enables entrepreneurs to save time and resources. Currently, there are four SMB Houses operating nationwide in Baku, Yevlakh, Khachmaz, and Shusha, as well as a service center of the “Khachmaz SMB House” in the city of Khudat. These SMB Houses provide services not only to entrepreneurs in the mentioned cities but also to those operating in surrounding districts and cities.
At SMB Houses, entrepreneurs are provided with “G2B” services such as business registration, tax and customs matters, licenses, permits, certificates of origin, and other documents, as well as “B2B” services including banking, insurance, and other types of services.
SMB Houses operate within the structure of the Small and Medium Business Development Agency (KOBIA). The Agency continues its efforts to enhance the functionality and range of services of SMB Houses, expand them geographically, implement digital solutions, and further simplify processes. Several countries have already shown strong interest in the SMB House model and its implementation in their own countries. In this regard, cooperation documents have been signed with the relevant institutions of several countries.
