The intention protocols signed between Azerbaijani and Vietnamese businessmen encompass various facets of collaboration, including agricultural production, import and export of food and cosmetic products, as well as joint manufacturing endeavors.

The representatives of the Small and Medium Business Development Agency (KOBİA) and a group of businessmen paid a visit to the capital city of Vietnam, Hanoi, to explore cooperation opportunities between SMBs and establish institutional collaboration with relevant organizations. Within the framework of the visit supported by the Embassy of the Republic of Azerbaijan in the Socialist Republic of Vietnam, meetings were held at various institutions in Vietnam supporting businesses as well as documents were signed.

During the meetings of KOBİA representatives with Mr. Le Trung Kien, the President of the International Business Relations Club, Mr. Dinh Viet Ho, the President of the National Entrepreneurship Association (VINEN), and officials from the Vietnam Trade Promotion Agency, Entrepreneurship Development Agency, and National Agency for the Development of Technological Entrepreneurship and Commercialization, exchange of views was shared regarding the support and services available to SMBs in Azerbaijan, entrepreneurship experiences, and establishment of relationships between the business circles of the two countries as well as enhancing trade relations, and exploring possible opportunities for cooperation. Within the framework of visit, a document on cooperation was signed between KOBİA and the International Business Relations Club of Vietnam. The document outlines various measures aimed at fostering the development of joint cooperation and promoting relations between the business circles of the both countries. During the trip, KOBİA representatives and our businessmen participated in the Global Business and Investment Forum organized by Vietnam's National Entrepreneurship Association (VINEN) in Hanoi. Mr. Orxan Mammadov, the Chairman of the Board of Directors of KOBİA, provided information during his speech at the event about entrepreneurship opportunities in Azerbaijan, business support tools, including the Agency's activities. It was highlighted that there are extensive collaboration opportunities with Vietnam in sectors such as food and tourism. The positive dynamics of trade relations also signal the potential for expanding relationships in this field. KOBİA is ready to share its experience in supporting small and medium entrepreneurship infrastructure and other support mechanisms with Vietnam.

The Memorandum Understanding was signed between KOBİA and VINEN on cooperation within the framework of the forum. The document delineates cooperation directions, including the expansion of economic, trade, and investment collaboration among SMBs, the exchange of information and experiences regarding SMB operations and the support extended to them, the facilitation of reciprocal business trips, and the promotion of training and educational programs for SMBs and relevant institutions. Additionally, at the forum, intention protocols were signed between Azerbaijani and Vietnamese businessmen to cooperate in various sectors including agriculture, meat, honey products, and more. These protocols also cover areas such as import-export and joint production of food, cosmetic products etc.
