The Small and Medium Business Development Agency (SMBDA) has issued ‘Startap’ certificates to 5 more SMBs. Thus, the number of “Startup” certified SMBs has reached 19.
The “Startup” certificates were issued to “GLOBAL INNOVATIONS” LLC’s online payment aggregator and the www.epoint.az e-commerce platform, “VVHELP” LLC’s online customer support software for business entities, individual entrepreneur Orkhan Jafarov’s online consulting platform for the agricultural sector, “SUPPLY CHAIN COMMUNITY” LLC’s online platform for suppliers and procurers, and individual entrepreneur Namik Hajiyev’s online knowledge competition project.
The “Startup” certificate exempts SMBs from income tax and tax on income from innovation activity for 3 years from the date of receiving the certificate.
