200 applications submitted to the 2nd grant competition

Receiving documents for the 2nd grant competition for funding scientific and support projects of micro, small, and medium entrepreneurs, announced by the Small and Medium Business Development Agency (SMBDA), has ended. In total, 200 applications were submitted to the competition. 93 and 101 SMB projects belong to legal entities and individuals, respectively; 186 projects have been submitted by micro, 5 -small, and 3 - medium businesses. Most of them are support projects. The projects are currently being assessed by the Expert Commission. The results will be posted on the SMBDA’s website www.smb.gov.az after February 10, 2022. Up to AZN 20,000 will be allocated for each approved project.

 

Note that funding SMB’s educational, scientific, research, and support projects started in 2021 according to the Rules approved by the Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers on September 30, 2020.
