The Small and Medium Business Development Agency (SMBDA) issued “Startup” certificates to 4 more business entities. These are the “VATT” LLC’s “Powerbank rental” project for renting phone chargers through a mobile application, “ALT SERVICE” LLC’s “Smart network device” for uninterrupted power supply, individual entrepreneur Tabriz Zeynalov’s “www.cagir.az” online platform for purchase and sale of household services, and the “TECHFIN” LLC’s project of the cloud-based online accounting program “www.hesabat.az”.

 

Micro and small businesses that have been issued a “Startup” certificate are exempt from income tax and tax on income from innovation activity for 3 years from the document receipt date. In this regard, entrepreneurs are advised to obtain a “Startup” certificate for already profitable projects that are at the stage of active growth.

 

It should be noted that at the moment, SMBDA has issued “Startup” certificates to 14 micro and small businesses.
