A concert was organized on the occasion of our national mini-football team becoming European champions 15.06.22

A concert dedicated to the victory of our national mini-football team, which won the European Championship in Slovakia, was held on Baku Boulevard on June 15.

The concert with the participation of the national team was organized by the Ministry of Youth and Sports, Small and Medium Business Development Agency (KOBİA), Azerbaijan Mini-Football Federation, Azfar Group and Zira Professional Football Club with the support of mobile operator Nar.

Honorary President of Zira Professional Football Club and founder of Azerbaijan Mini-Football Federation Orkhan Mammadov, department head of the Ministry of Youth and Sports Elnur Mammadov, head coach of national mini-football team Elshad Guliyev, head coach of Zira Professional Football Club Rashad Sadigov and honored artist Bahram Bagirzade took part in the event and congratulated the players and fans on the victory.

A city tour was organized to present the cup to the fans as part of the concert. The cup won by our national mini-football team during the European Championship was displayed on a special bus in the main parts of the city.

The concert featured singers Zulfiya Khanbabayeva, Miri Yusif, Samra and others.

It should be noted that our national mini-football team won a gold medal in the final of the European Championship, in which it participated for the second time in its history, defeating the Romanian national team with a score of 1:0. On June 14, President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Mr. Ilham Aliyev received members of our national team, winners of the European Mini-Football Championship. The meeting was also attended by Minister of Youth and Sports Farid Gayibov and the founder of the Azerbaijan Mini-Football Federation and honorary president of the Zira Professional Football Club Orkhan Mammadov. Also, by the order of the President, one million manat was allocated to the Azerbaijan Mini-Football Federation from the reserve fund of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan.
