A meeting was held between SMBDA and the Investment Office under the President of Turkey 27.10.21

The chairman of the Board of the Small and Medium Business Development Agency (SMBDA) Orkhan Mammadov met with the head of the Investment Office under the President of the Republic of Turkey Burak Daghlioghlu within the framework of the Azerbaijan Investment and Culture Summit.

Burak Daghlioghlu stressed the importance of the summit for attracting direct foreign investment to Azerbaijan and informing investors of the favorable business environment in the country. The chairman of the SMBDA Board Orkhan Mammadov expressed satisfaction with the fruitful cooperation between the agencies.

The parties exchanged views on the areas of collaboration under the Memorandum of Understanding signed between SMBDA and the Investment Office in December 2020, as well as the possibility of expanding investments in Azerbaijani business.
