On October 28, the Small and Medium Business Development Agency (SMBDA) and the Ukrainian Chamber of Commerce and Industry arranged a round table as part of the Ukrainian-Azerbaijan Business Council. The event, dedicated to the agro-industrial complex and land reclamation, was attended by officials and businessmen from Azerbaijan and Ukraine, engaged in the appropriate activities.
The round table discussed the current state of business ties, prospects for investment and cooperation, as well as provided information on the economic and investment potential of the territories liberated from the occupation.
Speaking at the event, Chairman of the SMBDA Board Orkhan Mammadov stressed the development of economic relations between Azerbaijan and Ukraine and the importance of the Business Council in establishing direct contacts between SMBs of the two countries. It has been noted that SMBs are the driving force of economic development and can be active participants in innovative progress. The Agency, in turn, can provide Ukrainian businessmen with the necessary information and consulting services to stimulate cooperation between SMBs. Orkhan Mammadov noted that the territories liberated from the occupation have great economic potential and called on Ukrainian businessmen to actively participate in investing in the liberated territories and implementing innovative projects.
