On October 4, Istanbul hosted a meeting on a public-private partnership between the chairman of the SMBDA Board Orhan Mammadov, chairman of the Board of the State Agency for Compulsory Health Insurance Zaur Aliyev, and the head of the Istanbul PPP Center Eyup Vural. The parties exchanged views on the implementation of PPP projects in the healthcare sector, Turkey's experience in this area, the SMBDA’s work on the application of the PPP model in various sectors, and prospects for cooperation.
During the visit, the delegation will visit a number of hospitals established according to the PPP model.
As part of the visit, the chairman of the SMBDA Board Orkhan Mammadov met with the president of the IBF Forum (International Business Forum) Erol Yarar. At the meeting, prospects for expanding cooperation and ties between the Agency and IBF, as well as preparations for the IBF forum, which will be held in Baku in November this year, have been discussed.
