During the reception, entrepreneurs were provided with information on state support mechanisms and the rules for their effective use.
Entrepreneurs of the Karabakh economic region are actively using the services of the “Shusha SME House”.
At the “Shusha SME House”, which supports the promotion of business activity in the liberated territories and ensures convenient access of entrepreneurs to state services, in January–May 2026 about 560 services were provided to entrepreneurs.
The applications received at the SME House are mainly related to the organization of business activity, connection to utility networks, and tax issues. Thus, in January–May 2026, the most frequently addressed services at the “Shusha SME House” were: “Azərişıq” OJSC — 219 (39.18%), State Tax Service under the Ministry of Economy — 161 (28.80%), “Azəriqaz” Union — 122 (21.82%), and Azerbaijan State Water Resources Agency — 50 (8.94%).
Entrepreneurs from all cities and districts included in the Karabakh economic region may apply to the “Shusha SME House”.
It should be noted that the “Shusha SME House” started its activity in February 2025 and is a structural division of the Small and Medium Business Development Agency (KOBİA). Here, entrepreneurs are provided with services on business registration, tax services, obtaining licenses and permits, issuance of the investment promotion document, food safety, veterinary and plant protection, connection to utility services, and other directions. In total, more than 90 services are provided to entrepreneurs at the “Shusha SME House” by 8 state bodies and private organizations.
