Representatives of KOBİA, the focal point of the program for Azerbaijan, attended the events dedicated to the 25th anniversary of the program.

This year marks the 25th anniversary of the successful implementation of the Manager Training Program of Germany in Azerbaijan. Representatives of the Small and Medium Business Development Agency (KOBİA), which coordinates the program for Azerbaijan, attended the events held on the 25th anniversary of the program in Berlin.

It should be emphasized that the program implemented by the Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Climate Action of Germany and the German Society for International Cooperation (GIZ) covers 19 countries including Azerbaijan. Under the program, business managers from different countries attended events aimed at developing management skills and strengthening multilateral cooperation, and while also undergoing in-depth online and offline training. This program offers opportunities for in-depth study and development of various sectors of the economy, including high-tech manufacturing and service sectors. Private sector representatives taking part in the trainings develop their management skills and international cooperation opportunities in various fields such as digital and green economy, healthcare, "Industry 4.0", standardization, and smart agriculture. Azerbaijan has actively participated in this program since 2009. So far, some 600 entrepreneurs and managers have benefited from the program in Azerbaijan.

As part of the visit, the Azerbaijani delegation discussed the action plan of the program for the coming year in a meeting with the representatives of the Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Climate Action of Germany and GİZ, and agreed on increasing the number of participants from Azerbaijan and organize trainings on potential areas for our economy.
