Azerbaijan-Austria Intergovernmental Commission discusses prospects for cooperation in the field of SMEs

The 10th meeting of the Joint Commission on Economic, Agricultural, Industrial, Technical and Technological Cooperation between Azerbaijan Republic and the Republic of Austria was held in Baku on May 16.


Along with various areas, joint activities in the field of small and medium business development were discussed at the event.


In his speech at the meeting, Chairman of the Board of the Small and Medium Business Development Agency (KOBİA) Orkhan Mammadov noted that we are interested in the exchange of experience in the field of SMEs with Austria, the implementation of joint initiatives to expand relations between SMEs. It was stressed that there is a need to strengthen the partnership, especially between business networks, and mutual visits will be useful in this regard. Organizing visits of local startups to incubators and accelerators, as well as establishing direct contacts with startups in Austria can be beneficial for both parties.
