Recently, the Small and Medium Business Development Agency (KOBİA) has issued a Startup certificate to 5 more SMBs, bringing the total to 123. One of the SMBs that received a new "Startup" certificate is "Alfa Hospitality" LLC, which develops a platform and mobile application that optimizes the food chain process.

Naib Ahmadzadeh, director of the company, stated that no project in the world is exactly like what they aim to develop, despite the fact that there are similar initiatives in several Western countries. When this platform - which should be completed in approximately two months - brings together all the members of the food chain, some 6-7 names of services will be offered: "This platform will allow us to purchase the product not from the 2nd hand, but from the 1st hand. "Through the platform we'll offer, farmers will be able to sell their goods directly and without middlemen to hotels, restaurants, and large holdings."

N. Ahmadzadeh mentioned that consumers would be able to benefit from this platform to compare food product prices: "Consumers will be able to compare the prices of products in markets without leaving their houses. Customers can use this platform to make a customized monthly list, and then use that list to build a monthly budget for food. After the citizen states his/her budget and the names of the foods he/she wants to consume, the platform provides recipes according to that budget and calculates the appropriate price budget, besides, it helps in which markets he/she can purchase products from nearby."

The entrepreneur pointed out that those involved in the food industry can create accounts and sell their services on the platform, and users are encouraged to from these services: "For instance, at Eid al-Adha, people intend to slaughter an animal and give it to low-income families. In this regard, our platform can be useful. By signing up on our platform, individuals will be able to contact the sacrificer."

According to N. Ahmadzadeh, the platform offers ways to reduce food waste. Users will be introduced to the "food banking" system for this reason: "We are all aware of the amount of food waste after weddings. Restaurants will be able to charge less for those in need to purchase their leftover meals."
