The 25th International Business Forum (IBF) will be held in Baku on November 14-17, 2021. The forum, arranged by the Small and Medium Business Development Agency (SMBDA) and the Turkish Association of Independent Industrialists and Businessmen (MUSIAD), will be attended by businessmen and government officials from a number of countries. The forum, held annually in different countries, is aimed at developing bilateral trade and economic relations between countries, creating models of sustainable cooperation, and strengthening cooperation in the investment field and business ties. For this purpose, a number of conferences, country presentations, bilateral meetings, exhibitions, and other events will be held as part of the forum.
At the meeting, the chairman of the Board of the Small and Medium Business Development Agency (SMBDA) Orhan Mammadov, who was on a visit to Turkey, and the president of the IBF, founder and head of the Turkish Association of Independent Industrialists and Businessmen (MUSIAD) Erol Yarar discussed the preparatory work for the forum. It was noted that preparations for the forum continue according to the Memorandum of Understanding signed between the SMBDA and the IBF in July this year. As part of the event, it’s planned to familiarize foreign investors with the favorable business and investment environment of Azerbaijan, establish direct ties between businessmen, and make a presentation on the investment opportunities of Karabakh. The forum will be useful for the participating countries in terms of revitalizing trade and economic partnership and implementing new initiatives in the post-COVID period.
At the meeting with the participation of MUSIAD representatives, the parties exchanged views on new areas of cooperation between ARMSB and MUSIAD.
