Business training has been held for women entrepreneurs

A training course arranged by the Sumgayit SMB Development Center of the Small and Medium Business Development Agency (SMBDA) to expand the knowledge and skills of women entrepreneurs wishing to create their own business or expand an existing one has come to an end.

 

The pieces of monthly training arranged for women entrepreneurs from Sumgayit and Absheron economic region were dedicated to starting a business, taxes and tax incentives, corporate law, marketing, HR, and women's entrepreneurship and sustainable business development.

 

Due to the coronavirus pandemic, training was held in small groups according to the relevant rules.

 

20 women entrepreneurs who successfully completed the training were awarded certificates.

 

It should be noted that SMBDA takes appropriate measures to promote women's entrepreneurship, including free training and consulting services expanding the knowledge and skills of women entrepreneurs, to raise the role of women in the economy, employment, and private sector development, and increase the number of women among SMBs.
