Business trainings have been completed in Gabala

Business trainings within the "Youth Business Workshop" project with the participation of final year students of vocational education studying in the Gabala region have ended.


During the three-week trainings held at the Gabala State Vocational Training Center, young people have acquired basic business knowledge on the topics of how to start a business, the basics of entrepreneurship, sales, marketing, etc. under the mentorship of experts from the Yevlakh SME Development Center of KOBİA. In total, 158 young people studying in the last year of the Gabala State Vocational Education Center took part in the trainings.


It should be noted that the project "Youth Business Workshop" is implemented by the Small and Medium Business Development Agency (KOBİA), the State Employment Agency under the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of the Population and the State Agency on Vocational Education under the Ministry of Education. The aim of the project is to develop business skills and promote entrepreneurship among young people receiving vocational education, ensure self-employment, increase the number of young people with vocational training among micro and small entrepreneurs, support new business initiatives, increase interest in vocational education. The project was initially implemented in Jalilabad, Agdam and Gabala districts. The project covers such areas as crop and livestock, tourism, carpet weaving, agro-technical services, carpenter, tailor, locksmith, cook, confectioner and welder. The project envisages providing young people who have successfully completed business and vocational training with appropriate equipment.
