Can a company obtain a repeated “Startup” certificate for the same project? 17.03.26

A “Startup” certificate is issued only once for each project. However, a company may be issued “Startup” certificates for different ideas and projects.

It (should be ) is noted that micro and small business entities obtaining a “Startup” certificate are exempt, in accordance with the Tax Code of the Republic of Azerbaijan, from profit tax and income tax on income derived from innovation activities for a period of 3 years from the date of receipt of the certificate. The “Startup” certificate is issued for products and services based on innovative initiatives, competitive, in high market demand, and not identical to other startup products or services. Micro and small entrepreneurs may apply to the Small and Medium Business Development Agency for the issuance of a “Startup” certificate for their innovative projects.
