An online seminar on "Policy and practical approaches to implementation of SMB's green economy practices" was organized jointly by the Small and Medium Enterprises Development Agency (KOBIA) and the Secretariat of the Conference on Interaction and Confidence-Building Measures in Asia (CICA).

Representatives of specialized organizations in the relevant field and experts from Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Jordan, Turkey, Russia, Bangladesh, Israel, Cambodia, Thailand and other countries attended the event.

Representatives of the relevant countries made presentations at the seminar on the green transformation of SMBs, the priorities and policy agendas of various countries in this direction, state instruments supporting the transition to green activities, targeted programs, and the integration of green principles into the daily activities of entrepreneurs. The presentations also covered the experience of specialized institutions such as KOSGEB and JEDCO, as well as the approaches of business associations and the private sector.

The event discussed the role of SMBs in ensuring sustainable economic development, the importance of the green transition, and the promotion of environmentally responsible business models. It also considered cooperation opportunities to strengthen international cooperation in this area and integrate SMBs into the "green economy", and answered participants' questions.
